Elf on The Shelf Breakfast

He’s back! And as always he brought the boys a sugar filled breakfast! And brand new matching Pajamas. I love this time of year and all the traditions that we have created along the way!

I had two mini trees left over from Christmas photo shoots I had done last weekend so I decided to decorate them. The basket was originally green and I spray painted it white almost giving it a rustic look. I wanted to keep it neutral and simple. The trees I bought at Whole Foods. They were buy one get one free for $25! All ornaments and garland are from target. Since it was a last minute project I ended up sticking to that one store but I have seen lots of other ornaments from anthropologie, land of nod, etc that would have been perfect for this mini tree! I linked a few ornaments below.

Autumn in Concord

One of my favorite places to walk around is Concord, MA. Especially in the fall with all the colors and the history there. It’s such a beautiful town with cute shops and great restaurants. On this particular day we went to a coffee shop and then ended up wandering in the old cemetery counting all ladybugs we came across.

I’m obsessed with these pants from Zara!

Over night A discovered all the possibilities toys can do, and just like that his imagination came to life and it hasn’t stopped working since. I love every minute of it. The sound effects and discovering how observant he really is to the simplist of details. What started out as some quiet time while I got A’s bed ready for a nap quickly escalated into a jumping party when G joined in. It’s so rare these days to get him to want to be in front of the camera. He’s so fast and as soon as I hold up my camera he makes this grumpy face and tells me How I can’t take his picture or he just runs. I think I got atleast one almost in focus photo of him here?

Greyson:     Socks     Pants (similar)      Shirt

Austin:     Pants     Shirt

This weekend we went to go look for a mistletoe at a local garden shop. We walked around outside to see the trees and the animals but didn’t last long, it finally feels like winter. We ended up with a kissing ball and a mistletoe which is currently and temporarily hanging on the wall rather than in a doorway. So in the meantime every time Greyson walks by it he yells to me that he needs a kiss and of course I go running. These days he’s typically too cool for his mom so I’m loving all of the love I’m getting. I may just need to leave it up past Christmas ;).

Tree Farm

I have never been to a tree farm before so I thought it would be fun place to bring the boys to and show them where Christmas trees come from. The boys loved running around and exploring all of the different trees. After we left there we went to a farm stand that was the next town over to get our tree. We went there last year to get one and it was the most beautiful tree! Thats why we decided to go back there this year and once again we found the perfect one!
